Shaver's Creek, Owl Program

      On February 7 Shaver's Creek traveled to TWEP with owls from their rehab center located near Penn State. During an hour long program children and their parents were captivated by the information shared and also by the beauty of the visiting owls. All of the birds have sustained some injury that prevents them from returning to the wild. Many questions were asked by those that come to learn. When asked many of the children thought the Great Horned Owl was the most impressive, but the screech owl was the cutest.

      Visitors were then able to view the many elementary art projects on display in the Center.
