On Sunday, April 11 TWEP kicked off National Environmental Education Week with a presentation by Len Biko of Green Energy Construction and Consulting of Harrisburg. Mr. Biko gave an informative seminar on Renewable Energy options, including Solar and Wind energy for home and small business use. Renewable energies do not consume oil or coal and do not pollute the environment. Even better, once installed, they can save you money on your Electric Bill. With electric rates poised for a substantial increase in the near future, it may be time for you to look into renewable, free energy from the sun or wind. Most importantly, renewable energies are clean and help maintain a healthy environment for future generations and wildlife.
